The Marie Claire brand was founded in 1937 by Jean Prouvost and Marcelle Auclair. Today, the Marie Claire magazine is published in 35 countries and 5 continents. Nowadays the brand has also presented in different sectors such as home textile, cosmetics, accessories, etc. in many countries.
Marie Claire entered the Turkish market in 2013, as a result of an agreement it signed with As Lisans Tic. A.Ş., another Turgut Aydın subsidiary. This agreement gives As Lisans a master license rights of the Marie Claire brand in Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Iraq. It has also right to export to 34 countries.
In Turkey, the Marie Claire brand meets consumers through sub-licensors in sectors such as home textiles, bags, kitchenware, bedding, etc. By virtue of the same system, it has made a place for itself in various sectors, such as men's-women's outerwear, bags, underwear, and home textiles, with its own name on the label.
