Aydın Örme, one of Turgut Aydın Holding companies and one of Turkey's most established textile manufacturers, was established in 1991 in Sarıgazi, Istanbul and expanded its field of activity in a short time. Aydın Örme Sarıgazi facilities took important steps with the vision of Aydın Family within 5 years after the establishment and completed Akyazı dyeing and finishing facilities in 1996. In this way, by becoming an integrated facility from raw material to fabric, Aydın Örme was ahead of its competitors in Turkey and in the world.
In 2002 - 2003, Istanbul facilities were moved to Akyazı/Sakarya and integration was gathered in a single location. Today, 500 people are employed within the organization, which equips 85.000 m2 closed area in Akyazı with facilities that create value for the national economy. With an annual production capacity of 15 million mt of lace, 10 million mt of warp knit fabric, 15 million mt of circular knit fabric and 4400 tons of dyeing capacity, Aydın Orme/Akyazi factory has become one of the largest and leading textile production facilities in Turkey and Europe.
Acting with the vision of entering new markets by making sustainable and profitable investments to maximize operational excellence, Aydın Örme is a company with nearly 400 customers in more than 40 countries on 5 continents, thanks to R&D and modernization investments made over the years. Aydın Örme continues its domestic and international commercial activities with Dömeks A.S., which was established in 1976 in Marketing-Sales.
